About Kamaljit Singh Thind

Kamaljit Singh Thind is a Director, Producer, Host & Editor of Punjabi Kalma Literary Video Magazine. He also Director, Producer & host  TV program  "Mehak Punjab Di" (Joy TV Channel 10 Every Saturday 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM & 3:00Pm to 4:00PM  BC Pacifce time) capturing the essence of rich punjabi heritage, Magic show, poetry ,spicy music and  interviews with leading members of the punjabi community and literary personalities. This informative show hosts discussions on hot topics of business, education and multicultural issues.

Kamaljit Singh Thind  born and raised in village Sheikhe Pind District Jalandhar Punjab India. He did his Master in Arts (M.A.) in Punjabi from D.A.V. College, Jalandhar in the Year 1989.Thereafter, he obtained a Computer Diploma. While still continuing his  Master of Arts (M.A.), Kamaljit became a publisher and editor of a  punjabi monthly literary paper called “Kalma”,  and also  the owner of “Thind Publication”. Under this publication, a number of young writers had their first chance to publish their books & articles.

 
Kamaljit Thind came to Canada 1991. He started  two TV Shows "MEHAK PUNJAB DI".  After that he started world's first punjabi Literary  Video Magazine "PUNJABI KALMA.COM" .From here on,  Kamaljit grew keen love for punjabi literature and poetry. His education & pride of his heritage has made him today an excellent ambassador who works to preserve the punjabi language and culture.
